The Art of Collage Making Bayard-Cutting Arboretum....
Bronx born street and elite bred Master Collagist, Artist George Schulman, is holding 2-Day Collage Workshops at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum this season and going to demonstrate how to use saved and found objects to create a Art in the form of Collage. A Classically trained Abstract Expressionist, who can paint in any style or medium, Schulman is also a Master Colorist, Draftsman, Canvas Builder, Archivist and Art Historian.Schulman loves to teach Art Enthusiasts insider techniques to help you think outside the box.This is a great excuse to go into your closets, check those draws, find or photograph favorite memorabilia, heirloom table cloths, napkins, buttons, novelty and lace, newspapers and magazines and pair of scissors. Instructor to supply canvas, paint, glue etc. Think florals, landscapes, politics or pets. Class Dates:July 14 and 15, August 18 and 19, October 20 & 21.
